Privacy Policy
Stage. by Pi uses personal data to run a verified creative marketplace, support hiring workflows, process Razorpay payments, handle safety reviews, and respond to legal or support requests.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, creators, artists, influencers, agencies, businesses, admins, and other users of Stage. by Pi, including public pages, profiles, marketplace workflows, deal rooms, payment records, support requests, and related communications.
By using Stage, you agree that your data may be handled as described here and in any work order, agreement, consent, or platform notice presented to you.
Data We Collect
We collect information directly from you, from your platform activity, from marketplace counterparties, from service providers, and from lawful operational records.
- Account and profile data such as name, email, phone, role, username, city, profile details, portfolio links, creator category, business or agency details, and onboarding responses.
- Marketplace and work data such as job briefs, package requests, offers, agreements, deliverables, usage-right notes, revisions, schedules, applications, shortlists, reviews, dispute evidence, and messages.
- Payment and tax workflow data such as Razorpay order IDs, payment IDs, refund IDs, payout readiness records, invoices, GST/tax fields where provided, ledger entries, and reconciliation events.
- Verification and safety data such as submitted evidence, report history, trust signals, admin decisions, compliance notes, and security logs.
- Device, usage, and support data such as IP address, browser details, approximate location, cookies, page views, search terms, form submissions, and support correspondence.
How We Use Data
We use data to operate the marketplace, verify trust signals, match talent and opportunities, provide public profiles where enabled, process protected payment records, manage disputes, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve the product, and meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory duties.
We may also use contact information for service updates, safety notices, payment updates, policy changes, and optional marketing where permitted by law or consent.
Payments Through Razorpay
When you pay on Stage, Razorpay may collect and process payment instrument data under its own terms and privacy notices. Stage receives payment status, provider references, and transaction metadata needed to confirm, reconcile, refund, or dispute the payment.
Stage does not ask you to send card numbers, UPI PINs, netbanking passwords, or OTPs through chat, email, or support forms.
Retention, Security, and Your Choices
We retain data for as long as needed for the marketplace purpose, account administration, payment reconciliation, dispute handling, tax/accounting records, safety logs, legal claims, and mandatory retention duties.
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, private file handling, audit logs, and payment-provider separation. No online system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.
You can request access, correction, withdrawal of optional consent, deletion, or grievance review by contacting [email protected]. Some records may be retained where required for payments, disputes, security, legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
